Overview
MakeDeez is an AI-powered design storefront that lets you create print-ready designs and order them on physical products. By using, visiting, or interacting with MakeDeez via its applications or websites, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is part of our Terms of Service.
MakeDeez is a worldwide service owned and operated by Nunuworks, Inc.. When we refer to MakeDeez (“we”, “us”, or “our”) in this policy, we refer to the MakeDeez website, applications, and services only, not any other services owned or operated by Nunuworks, Inc. When we refer to users (or you), we mean all users and visitors to MakeDeez.
By using MakeDeez, you agree that the personal information that you provide directly to us, or that we collect through your use of the Service, may be transferred to and stored in Canada or the United States and handled as described in this policy.
Information You Provide
This is information that you provide to us through various input methods, such as text fields, uploads, buttons, checkout forms, refund forms, and account details.
MakeDeez lets you generate designs using templates and a Scratch prompt-first flow. You may provide information such as:
- Prompt text (e.g. “userPrompt”), including any optional “top text” and “bottom text” you enter.
- Reference images you upload (for example, up to 8 ordered reference images in Scratch mode).
- Optional creation settings such as aspect ratio and other creation toggles.
- Design selections and configuration choices (variants, product types, colors, sizes, quantities) when you add items to cart and proceed to checkout.
MakeDeez supports Google and Apple sign-in only (email/password sign-in is not used). If you sign in, we may receive and store limited profile information from your authentication provider such as your name, email address, and authentication token (no passwords) similar to how other Nunuworks products operate.
Your account area may include a profile and stored addresses, such as a billing address and default shipping address.
When you place an order, you provide information necessary to complete your purchase and deliver your items (such as shipping address details and order identifiers).
Refund requests are submitted through the refunds flow, and the form may collect:
- Full name, email, order ID, issue title/type, product name or SKU, quantity affected, issue details, and photos.
Refund photo uploads are required for claims.
If you contact us (for example, via the MakeDeez contact page), you may provide the contents of your message and any information needed to resolve your request.
MakeDeez may also offer HelperHat chat support. When you use the chat widget, support tools may process your chat messages, current page URL, visible page text, optional attachments, and contact details you choose to provide so the widget can answer questions, route live-agent requests, and preserve support context.
Users on MakeDeez
A user is someone who interacts with the MakeDeez website or apps. MakeDeez supports Google and Apple sign-in for authenticated actions, while public browsing remains available without sign-in.
As a user, you must provide your payment information to our payment processor (Stripe) during checkout. MakeDeez does not receive or store your full card number. Payment processors typically provide us with a token that represents your account, your card’s expiration date, card type, and the last four digits of your card number (and may provide your name/email if required to complete the transaction). (This follows the same pattern described in other Nunuworks privacy policies.)
We collect and process information about every user of MakeDeez.
Additional Information We Collect
We collect information automatically as you navigate MakeDeez or through our third-party analytics providers. This may apply to all users, including visitors who browse public pages (such as templates, collections, product pages, and policy pages).
- Device type, operating system, browser type
- IP address, approximate location derived from IP
- Device identifiers
- Browsing behavior, pages visited, and referral information
- Performance and diagnostic data
MakeDeez may also use IP-derived location and/or country eligibility checks to determine whether certain experiences are available in your region (for example, gating access based on supported shipping countries).
Information Collected by Third Parties (Cookies)
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your user experience, analyze usage patterns, and help with attribution and checkout continuity.
You have the option to manage your cookie preferences. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. However, if you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of our services may become inaccessible or not function properly.
MakeDeez may support attribution through common query parameters (for example utm_*, gclid, fbclid, and affiliate/referral parameters). These may be captured and stored in a short-lived cookie and/or a session record, and then attached to orders (including forwarding into Stripe metadata) so attribution survives checkout.
Third-Party Analytics
We may utilize analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to gather information about how users engage with our website and application. Examples of events that may be recorded include page load events and login/logout events (when applicable), associated with a unique user identifier when logged in. (This is consistent with the analytics approach described in other Nunuworks products.)
These analytics providers operate independently from us and have their own privacy policies, which we suggest you review.
Public Content and Sharing
MakeDeez may allow a buyer to publish a “buy this exact design” share link so other visitors can purchase the same design. Share pages allow purchasing the exact design, but do not allow redesigning/editing the image (visitors can choose product and allowed options).
Share pages and the underlying share records are designed to be “public-safe” and avoid exposing owner identifiers. For example, share records may store safe assets, defaults, and template metadata while excluding owner or creation identifiers.
MakeDeez displays design images in browsers and client payloads to support previewing and purchasing. Print-ready asset URLs are intended for server-side usage, but a URL may still be accessible if it becomes known.
Additionally, MakeDeez’s storage rules indicate that certain files (including uploads, refund uploads, outputs, and print-ready files) may be publicly readable if someone has the direct URL. For this reason, you should avoid uploading sensitive personal information in images or files.
How We Use Your Information
We process your information to:
- Allow you to sign in to your account using Google or Apple.
- Provide and improve MakeDeez services, including generating designs, displaying previews, and creating product mockups and configuration flows.
- Provide checkout, payment processing, order confirmation, and order status/tracking experiences.
- Fulfill orders and coordinate production/shipping via integrated fulfillment providers (for example, Printful), including receiving shipping status updates and tracking.
- Provide support through contact forms, refund forms, HelperHat chat, and live-agent follow-up workflows.
- Send you emails or communications relevant to your account, orders, refunds, or service updates (where applicable).
- Maintain safety, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce creation limits, and protect platform integrity.
- Understand how you use the service and create better tools for our users (including analytics and product research).
- Market MakeDeez products and services to you, or to audiences similar to you (where permitted by law and your settings/choices), consistent with other Nunuworks services.
Information We Collect from Third Parties
When you create a MakeDeez account, you can integrate your account with other authenticated services such as Google or Apple, and we will collect and store some information from those services, such as:
- Your authentication token (no passwords)
- Your email address (if provided)
- Other basic information proving that you are who you say you are from these authenticated services
MakeDeez supports Google and Apple sign-in only.
Your Rights Over Your Data
By agreeing to our Terms of Service, you expressly agree that MakeDeez may:
- Provide you with information about our service, service enhancements, or new MakeDeez features while you are on our website or using our apps.
- Send you messages regarding our existing service, or enhancements related to our existing service, when you are off our service (for example, via email), when applicable.
- Send you messages related to services we provide that are separate from our existing service, from which you may opt out.
- Allow you to opt out of marketing by unsubscribing from our marketing emails (when applicable).
You can access and update the information associated with your account through the MakeDeez account experience, including profile and address information.
You may request deletion of your account information. Because MakeDeez supports passwordless sign-in (Google/Apple), we may ask you to verify your request by signing in to your account first.
If you submit a request to exercise your privacy rights, you may be asked to verify the request by logging into your MakeDeez account. If we are unable to verify your request, then for your protection, we reserve the right to deny the request. (This approach matches other Nunuworks policies.)
Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. We primarily store and process data in Canada and the United States, and implement safeguards to protect your data under this Privacy Policy.
MakeDeez is an international service that intends to comply with the GDPR for users based in the European Union and is also subject to California privacy laws for users based in California, consistent with the compliance posture described in other Nunuworks privacy policies.
Where applicable, you may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf, and we do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights (consistent with other Nunuworks policies).
Our Data Retention Period
We may retain your account information for up to ten years after your account is last active unless you delete it or request us to delete your account. We may continue to retain some information, even after you delete your account, if we are required to do so to comply with various laws. Our Security Practices
The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Age Requirements
MakeDeez is intended for users who are 18 years old or older. If you are under 18, you cannot use MakeDeez.
If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information to MakeDeez, please contact us through the MakeDeez contact page and we will investigate and, if necessary, remove that account and associated information as swiftly as possible.
Changes to This Policy
We may sometimes make changes to this policy. If we make material changes that adversely affect your rights under this policy, we will let you know by posting an announcement on the site or sending you an email or other notice in advance of the changes coming into effect. Continuing to use MakeDeez after a change to this policy means you accept the new policy. (This matches other Nunuworks policies.)
